Precision Photonics Corporation (PPC) of Boulder, CO (www.precisionphotonics.com) is a leader in the field of precision optics manufacturing and laser technology. We’re seeking a full time optics manufacturing process engineer to contribute to process development and optical metrology improvements in our high technology manufacturing division.

Our ideal candidate will have a science or engineering degree and have worked in an optics manufacturing environment producing precision optical components.
R E Q U I R E M E N T S
- Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Physics or Engineering
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle a fast paced production environment
• Able to understand optical specifications and requirements
• Demonstrated competence with optical metrology tools and fabrication equipment
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to write work instructions and process documents that technicians can follow
• US citizenship or Green Card.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Prior experience with optical fabrication
• Prior experience with optical design and metrology
• Familiarity with clean room environmental constraints
• A former exposure to ISO 9000 or quality assurance systems and manufacturing tracking solutions
