Calmar fiber laser systems can reliably generate clean optical pulses less than 100 fs, with repetition rates from KHz to 320 GHz, average power up to 10 Watts, and single pulse energies up to 10 µJ. Fiber lasers are available at several wavelengths from 260 to 1600 nm. Calmar also manufactures innovative electrical and optical accessories, such as electrical pulse generators, harmonic doublers and bit rate multipliers.
D E S C R I P T I O N
Calmar Laser is looking for a fiber laser production engineer responsible to manufacture and develop fiber laser products. The job responsibility are to manufacture and develop high-speed fiber lasers. Tasks include: (1) designing, assembling and characterizing fiber lasers; (2) work with R & D engineers to convert prototypes into manufacturable and reliable products. The person is required to perform proficiently test and measurement, fiber management and handling such as fusion splicing.
R E Q U I R E M E N T S
- Extensive hands-on industrial experience of fiber optical components, module and system production; Five years of experience in fiber optics, nonlinear optics and lasers industry or R&D; An MS or higher degree in electrical engineering, photonics, or mechanical engineering.
