Job Summary:

The Process Engineer IV will focus on the development of manufacturing processes for optoelectronic devices and implementation of statistical process control throughout manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with engineering, R&D, and fabrication to meet quality and delivery goals • Mentor engineers and technicians in process and product development • Develop product requirements and specifications in coordination with research and development to meet customer requirements • Apply engineering and statistical data handling knowledge to solve sophisticated optoelectronic device processing issues • Develop equipment level process control requirements and implement lean manufacturing practices • Monitor and thoroughly document development efforts to ensure conformance to design • Lead process development efforts from proof-of-concept to product realization

• Experience and Technical Skills Required: • An active hands-on approach to technology development is critical to this position • Possess good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work with limited supervision • Highly motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated • Work well in a team oriented environment • 7+ years of experience in product or manufacturing development in a hi-tech environment • Knowledge of semiconductor optoelectronic devices • Experience in optoelectronic or microelectronic device fabrication and characterization • Have demonstrated ability to read, understand and write technical procedures, specification, and training materials. Education, License, Certification Required: • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field • Ability to obtain DoD security clearance • US Person Only • References Required Physical Requirements: Physical health must be sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position.
