Product Support Specialists are responsible for supporting the sales activities for Raman spectroscopic instrumentation by providing technical support and training to potential and existing customers,
- Be recognized expert with Raman instruments, software packages, and accessories,
- Conduct on-site and off-site demonstrations of our Raman instruments ensuring that the value as a new analytical tool is established,
- Work with new and existing customers to provide Raman solutions to their analytical problems, developing chemical models and preparing final reports as required,
- Work with customers to develop Raman applications for publication either as technical papers, application notes etc,
- Analyze samples, provided by customers and our Sales Force, providing a report as required,
- Conduct technical seminars at customer sites,
- Conduct advanced training for new and existing customers,
- Evaluate potential new customer/market opportunities and inform Sales and Marketing accordingly,
- Support technical conferences by presenting scientific papers at these meetings (for example Pittcon, FACSS),
- Support Technical sales in regions without an active Account Manager. |
