Laser Development Engineer

Now is your opportunity to join IMRA as we are seeking an Application Engineer to join our Ann Arbor team.  Requirements and responsibilities are as follows:

Responsibilities:

Design and develop ultra-short pulse lasers and related products

• Lead laser prototyping for new applications
• Leads product design review activities
• Responsible for creating design and qualification documents
• Develops production processes working with other engineers and production group
• Communicate with marketing group for new product development

Qualifications:

PhD degree in engineering or science discipline

• Expert knowledge in ultrafast laser
• 3+ year of industrial experiences in laser and related product development
• Knowledge in software and optical equipment for test and measurement
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
