Electrical/Electronics Engineer

Now is your opportunity to join IMRA as we are seeking an Application Engineer to join our Ann Arbor team.  Requirements and responsibilities are as follows:

Job Functions:

• Responsible for system level and board level analog/digital hardware design and software development projects.
• Maintain, revise, update and document existing hardware/software configurations, including troubleshooting, repair and improving of system functionality
• System engineering and integration of electrical components
• Perform design, simulation, and test of analog/digital circuit and software functions.

Qualifications:

• BSEE with a minimum of 3 years of experience or MS Degree with strong educational performance.
• Experience interfacing analog circuits with embedded microcontrollers, digital peripherals and/or PLCs.
• Experience with analog, mixed signal and closed loop designs using op-amps, DACs, ADCs and passive components, preferred operating in a frequency range from DC to 1GHz.
• Experience with programming of embedded micro-processors in ANSI C, FPGAs/CPLDs in Verilog/VHDL and programming of PLCs (programmable logic controllers) using ladder logic/FBDs (functional block diagrams) required.
• Good written/verbal communication and project documentation skills.
