Title:       Commercial Nuclear Systems Engineer

Position Summary: The employee will provide system engineering support for ongoing Commercial Nuclear Product Line activities. Including but not limited to:

• On-Site support for Commercial Nuclear Products
• Up to 100% Domestic and International Travel with 6 month renewable posting(s) in Taiwan
• System Requirement Generation
• System Requirement Allocation
• Proposal Preparation

Duties and Responsibility: 

• Become expert on DRS-CCI PLµS 32® controls products in order to provide on-site customer support during installation and grooming of the equipment
• Perform System Integration
• Member of a Team Designing a Generic Balance of Plant Product Offering
• Member of a Team Plotting the Next Generation of Safety Related Control Systems
• Generation of a Design Basis Specifications

Basic Qualifications (include education and years of experience required):

• BS in Electrical or Nuclear Engineering
• Experience with 10CFR50 quality / development environment
• Experience with development and deployment of Commercial Nuclear I&C Systems (5 Yrs Min)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to travel abroad for up to six months at a time.

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience in dealing with international customers
• Ability to communicate in a cross-cultural environment

Physical Requirements (Lifting, Walking, Bending, Stooping kneeling etc)

• Ability to perform light lifting and bending associated with installation and troubleshooting of PLµS 32® equipment

This position could require the ability to obtain and retain any applicable security clearances, including interim security clearances, within a time period to be established by the Company
